The Highlander’s Bride Returns
I wanted to write a book with my daughter, Daniella, and her dogs as characters. Since there were no Siberian huskies in Scotland at the time, I had to build the whole book around getting them there. Daniella was in the service, so she had to be able to wield a sword. I tried to keep as close to their personalities as possible.
The MacLeod's Destiny (SPOILER ALERT)
This book was inspired by a song by Morgan Wallen called Sand in My Boots. I wanted to have my characters pulled apart due to life’s circumstances. (But of course, they don’t stay that way. My story has a happy ending!)
Yes! I hope to have one in 2026
No. I am French Canadian on my father’s side and Sicilian on my mother’s. Lupinacci is my married name.
Most of the books I enjoy are historical fiction based in the Scottish Highlands, so this is where my mind wanders to. I write in a closed-door style because I feel the intimacy should be behind the scenes. Even without the detail of the private scenes, the intense love between my characters is portrayed in my style.
